This selection is for grade 2 students. This is a trade book adaptation to be included as part of anthology. This story was written from scratch to hit certain standards and lesson skills.

 

We obtained permission from the original book publisher to re-design the layout. I overhauled the overall look and feel to make it more modern. I found a background that gives a feel of molecules which I colorized for each page, picked up the molecule shapes to enclose captions, added a glow around each photos to add a halo effect and chose type face that looks 'digital'.
