Leveled Reader Cards
Leveled Reader Cards are two-sided, either single or gate-folded cards, that delivers cross-curricular lessons to students. I was given a manuscript and a blank canvas. I owned the entire creative process, from concept, through photo research, to final.
How's the Weather? is for grade 3 students. I came up with a soft and light cloud to contain the main text and separate it from the captions and fun facts. The locator globes and diagrams are re-purposed illustrations, which I modified to achieve consistency in styles. The sunlight diagram in particular is a combination of a locator globe and a sun diagram from past science and social studies programs.
