Exploring Challenger Deep
This story is for grade 4 students, as part of an anthology of trade book selections. This story was written from scratch to hit certain standards and lesson skills.
This article was created to hit a standard specific to the state of Florida. With very limited budget and difficulties in obtaining rights to Deapsea Challenger photos and scientifically accurate photos that represents life forms that live in the specific area of the ocean, we exhausted all photo options on the second page. We came up with a solution to show a diagram which would deliver scientific data in a visual way. I created the diagram as well as the illustrations of items in the diagram.
