Short Read
Short Read is a short article that introduces the theme or topic of a unit. While these articles are part of a Reading program, their content often covers cross-curricular topics, such as science or social studies.
Weather Through the Seasons is another case where the final product differened significantly from the original concept. Originally, the intent was to show photographs of the same location in different seasons and weather conditions. Finding such photos of an exact location within the US that was generic and not a landmark proved to be a challenge. I was able to solve this problem by creating my own illustrations to depict the same ideas.
